I had high hopes of my Gila monsters hatching on the same day that my favorite band, Queens of the Stone Age, released their new album Perfecth on October 30. I guess the Gila monsters didn’t care about my plans and the first one pipped yesterday. Fine by me, though. As long as I see baby Gila monsters and listen to new music from Queens there isn’t much to complain about!
Now that the babies are hatching, I will be reaching out to those on the waitlist for a 2026 captive born Gila monster. If you’re interested in one of this year’s babies reach out and we’ll see what is available after the waitlist is fulfilled. Time to jam out and watch baby Gila monsters hatch!
