Without a doubt, this is the most exciting time of year for Gila monster breeders; hatching time! The eggs turn translucent and start to dent, then one day a little slit is open and a baby Gila pokes its little head into the earth! Amazing! After all the hard work, planning, and hope, it all comes together now. I am VERY curious about what is going to come, out of that calcified egg – it was the only viable one laid by Lucy this year!
Those on the waitlist have been contacted, but if you are interested reach out and we’ll put you on though there are many ahead at this point.
Stay tuned, beautiful baby Gilas hatching soon!
